I just wanted to let you know how much we appreciate everything you have done for my four month old daughter MEGHAN. Time after time, you go out of your way to meet us at Jersey shore, Medical Center and quickly resolve Megan’s G – tube issues and problems. You are one of the very few doctors I’ve ever known to be so extra caring.

In all my years as both a patient and coworker to healthcare professionals, I have never come across anyone as devoted or dedicated to his or her patient and their families. Dear Mr. Littleson:
In this rush, hurry time we live in we often make a fuss and furry over the bed and wrong things that happen in our lives, but we don’t take the time to acknowledge the good.
My letter is to notify you of the little acts of exceptional care. My son has received since being in Dr. Martin Fried care. My son has Crohn’s disease as you are aware an incurable disease diagnosed in 1996 by Dr. Fried
One example of his Compassion was when my son was on capital TPN and running a fever due to the possibility of infection in his line he had to go to the hospital, my son was crying and nothing I said, comforted him. Dr. Free took the time and got on the phone with my son. He immediately stopped crying and when he got off the phone, my son packed his overnight bag and said OK let’s go. I don’t know what he said but it was Dr. Fried taking the extra step to talk to him.
My son has had several hospitalizations at Jersey shore Medical Center. During one of his days he was recovering from surgery and it was Christmas time, feeling sad, Dr. Fried picked up on this and after his day was done, he visited with my son and took us to his office to demonstrate his train to see the joy and smile on my son’s face.
It may not sound like much to you, but when you were dealing with children, the extra Compassion Dr. fried shows in his patient’s total care is not to be unnoticed.
I give thanks for being so lucky to have found such a wonderful doctor to care for my child and to have your child have faith and trust in his physician can only help.

For the last 50 years, I have visited the Jersey shore to experience the treasures of the sun, sea and sand. Except for the times as a 12 year old that I tried to surf through a pole and was sewn up then at what was Fitkin memorial hospital most memories are pleasant.
The reason for this letter is to tell you about one more treasure of the Jersey shore and his name is Dr. Martin Fried. I have been a pharmacist for almost 30 years and have met and spoken 2000s of physicians in that time. Dr. Fried has recently taken care of my 15-year-old daughter and he was thorough, compassionate, and needless to say an excellent physician. My daughter even liked him and that really shows you something when you consider she had been to a male doctor and where he was poking her.
I’ve never written a letter like this, but was so impressed by him. Please forgive my English penmanship
